The problem I kept seeing
Over and over, I watched brilliant technical founders build something genuinely great, then stall. Not because the product wasn't good, but because they couldn't get customers. Sales and marketing are a different craft, and trying to learn it while building the product is nearly impossible. Meanwhile, hiring a full-time VP of Sales is a $300k+ bet most early startups can't afford and shouldn't make before they know their motion works.
So founders get stuck in the middle: too far along to ignore growth, too early to hire a full team. SaaS Stars exists to fill that gap, an experienced sales and marketing leader who runs the motion for you, part-time, without the cost, equity, or risk of a full-time hire. After more than a decade of being the person founders and teams leaned on to crack sales, building SaaS Stars to do exactly that was the obvious next step.
My background
Today I'm Co-Founder and VP of Sales & Marketing at TryTami, a B2B SaaS startup, where I run this exact founder-led motion day to day. So when I say I do this work, I mean right now, for my own company.
Before that, I sold B2B SaaS at every stage: account executive at Scalr (Series A) and Logz.io (Series B to C), Strategic Account Executive at Pluralsight (public), plus Cloud Academy and Smartcat, mostly in cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, and EdTech. Along the way I've closed deals with companies like Deloitte, Dell, United Rentals, Amgen, and NBCUniversal, alongside plenty of smaller, earlier-stage buyers.
Earlier in my career, I helped grow DevelopIntelligence, a technical training services company, to its acquisition by Pluralsight, as Director of Sales, landing flagship customers like Salesforce, Intuit, Starbucks, and Liberty Mutual.
That range matters. I've done early-stage, founder-style selling at startups and closed enterprise deals at public companies, so I know what actually works at your stage, and what to skip until later.

You work with me, backed by a bench
I'm not a one-person shop, and I'm not an agency. You work directly with me, and behind me is a network of proven US-based SaaS sales and marketing leaders: CROs, VPs and directors of sales, AEs, SDRs, and SDR leaders from SMB, mid-market, and public SaaS companies. When an engagement needs a specific specialist or more horsepower, I bring in exactly the right person. You're never bottlenecked by one calendar, and you never get handed off to a junior team you didn't sign up for.
The AI advantage, pointed at growth
The way go-to-market gets done has changed. AI now makes it possible to do the work of a whole GTM team, list-building, personalized outreach, content, SEO, faster and cheaper than ever. I run the modern stack, Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay, Instantly, your CRM, and AI agents, so you get more pipeline for less.
Why "founder-led," done for you
Early-stage buyers want to talk to the person who built the product. That's why founder-led sales works, and why I don't replace you, I run the motion as you: I write in your voice, reach out from your accounts, and bring you into the room when it counts. You get the pipeline a founder-led motion produces, without losing the hours you need to keep building.
